Who Are Kids in Action?  

We’re a registered charity which supports

disabled and disadvantaged children.

Although we’ve long enjoyed indispensable support

from local companies,

we still depend very much on the generosity of individuals.

Individuals like you. 

Sadly it’s inevitable that every year more children

will need our support, so we shall always require fresh funds

and offers of assistance.

In an ideal world there’d be no need for charity,

but we don’t live in an ideal world.

  We understand how easy it is to suffer donor fatigue.

But we can’t begin to compare our fatigue

with the exhausting process

of raising children who need so much

special and constant attention.

And neither can most of us imagine how wearing it

must be to be a child who’s simply not given

the same opportunities as other kids.
